Vision Group is a global retail technology group made up of engineers, operators, data scientists, and commercial leaders who understand the pressure of getting retail right.

We lived retail’s day-to-day problems long before we built software, and that’s why our tools are grounded in store reality.

Today, our AI, image recognition, IoT, and modeling tools support some of the world’s biggest CPG, beauty, beverage, and retail brands across thousands of stores and millions of assets.

Our Journey

What started with simple visibility challenges has grown into a full retail
technology group used by teams across the world.

2014

The Idea

Built the first cooler-tracking solution using IoT and image recognition.

2015

First Customer

Launched a pilot with Coca-Cola Hellenic to monitor their coolers.

2016

Foundation

Built a unified, device-agnostic platform designed to support retailers and CPGs at scale.

2017

Established a Strong Base

Partnered with Swire to connect 1.2M coolers across China and expanded into Europe, proving ROI across more than 10,000 coolers.

2018

Scaling to New Heights

Acquired Maxerience, strengthening our AI image recognition capabilities, and won Coca-Cola’s Global RFP for strategic image recognition partners.

2019

Expansion & Diversification

Crossed $10M in revenue, expanded into new markets with Nestlé Mexico, Budweiser China, Swire, and Coca-Cola European Partners, and formed a partnership with Retail Eye to grow the China business.

2020

Technological Advances

Expanded into AI-powered space planning with the launch of PICtoPOG and PDFtoPOG.

2021

Strategic Growth

Entered the category management space through the acquisition of SMSB’s management capabilities.

2022

Global Expansion

Extended image recognition into 43 countries alongside partners like Coca-Cola, Red Bull, and KDP.

2023

Category Expansion

Grew into non-beverage categories, onboarding major brands including Nestlé, Unilever, and Henkel.

2024

Portfolio Expansion

Acquired Hivery, adding AI assortment and hyper-localized space planning to the group and accelerating our push to modernize category management.

2025

Next-gen AI for Retail

Began building a unified AI platform combining GenAI, LLMs, and multimodal models to solve complex problems for retailers and CPGs.
